Students Lead the Way in Promoting Haiti Grass Restoration Effort

Better Universe and Citizens is excited to announce the completion of a student-led project to create a video for the Haiti Grass Restoration Project. This semester-long project explores our organization’s work in restoring grasslands and combating deforestation in Haiti.

The video was developed as part of an effort to enhance the Haiti Grass Project’s outreach and recruit volunteers. The team—comprising Ashari Penerton, Gage Boeneke, Aden Connor, Conner Oaks, and Paige Elkin— worked diligently to research, gather feedback, and ensure that the video accurately reflects the mission and impact of the Haiti Grass Restoration Project. The final product serves as both an informative and motivational tool to raise awareness about our organization’s vital work in restoring Haiti’s grasslands and combating deforestation.
