Green Success Stories Highlights Better Universe and Citizens
Green Success Stories has highlighted Better Universe and Citizens for its impactful work restoring degraded land in Haiti and advancing climate change solutions. In a featured interview, Director Dr. Tawainga Katsvairo shared how the organization is transforming eroded mountain slopes into green, productive landscapes through innovative land reclamation and community-driven conservation.
Better Universe and Citizen’s work centers on planting perennial grasses and trees to control erosion, restore biodiversity, and reduce climate impacts. Since 2016, the organization has built the largest network of schools and communities engaged in reforestation and grass planting in Haiti, improving water quality and creating sustainable economic opportunities.
We appreciate Green Success Stories for providing a platform to amplify our work and help us reach a wider audience. By highlighting real-world sustainability efforts, Green Success Stories plays an important role in sharing solutions that inspire environmental action and demonstrate what is possible through community-driven conservation.
