Celebrating World Oceans Day

When we plant green, we preserve the blue.

Our contributions to preserving the oceans is made possible by the work of hundreds of volunteers planting perennial grasses across Haiti. We believe that “when we plant green, we preserve the blue.” Our environment is interconnected, so by contributing to the wellbeing of the land, we are also preserving the water that makes up our oceans!

The Haiti Grass project plants deep rooted perennial grasses to increase soil integrity, create sustainable communities and reduce poverty.

Dr. Tawainga Katsvairo shared our message of ocean conservation at the Capitol Hill Ocean Week 2023: Ocean x Climate, held in Washington DC on Thursday, June 8th 2023.
